I could shoe-horn this into some message about illustration and how to convey expression in your characters but to be honest me and my son just had some fun sticking googly eyes on inanimate objects for no particular reason and I decided to upload the rather glorious results.... enjoy.
Wow! I'm inspired! I haven't looked at your blog for a while but can't wait to get started reading the lessons and of course admire the googly eyes some more! You are the person I first found when looking for inspiration a year ago after deciding on a career change, I love your website, illustrations and stories. Just a quickie - did you teach yourself web design? I'm currently trying to teach myself how to create a website as well as learning photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver, continue to practise my art, go to work and prepare for my first baby!! It's very exciting and sometimes overwhelming but I'm in for the long haul!!!! Catherine xxxx
ReplyDeleteThis made me chuckle! I know its a few weeks ago but I just dug out your artÃcle in the Telegraph(July)(Poopy-Pants) and found your blog! Sometimes read 'Inspire' magazine and also love many things retro, and my own retro victory, much of which I have retrieved from my parent's loft..
ReplyDeleteCorrection: my own retro history. (why do I always make errors on literary people's blogs?)
DeleteSuch a great work of illustrator. very good.
